Dr. Tara Gardtner - Veterinarian

Dr. Tara Gardtner is originally from Florida, but was raised outside of Atlanta, Georgia.

She received her undergraduate degree from North Georgia College and State University, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia (creating quite a rivalry here at the hospital in October!). After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Gardtner moved back to the sunshine state. Before joining our team, she practiced for six years as an emergency and general practice veterinarian.

Dr. Gardtner enjoys building a special relationship with her patients and helping to educate her clients so that they can make the best decisions regarding their pet's health care. Her special interests include emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery.

While not at work, Dr. Gardtner enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, traveling, and kayaking.
